You can now listen to the Instrumental Versions of Azul Kechi's debut album Celestial Love, produced and mixed entirely by Eraserhood Sound. When creating this record with Azul, we would first cook up instrumentals recorded to tape, then send them across the pond for her to write to in England. We would pass the track back and forth, honing ideas and shaping the songs, but each idea was always built around the initial analog recording. The album touches on modern R&B, hip hop, 80s pop, soul, disco, boogie, and more, with each track representing a unique sonic touchpoint. Hearing the record this way really showcases those original thoughts, performances, and inspirations, and we’re thrilled Azul has decided to share them with the world.
