In September you were introduced to Azul Kechi, the London based artist born in the stars, heaven sent from Mars…Today she is back with a brand new single “Highs & Lows”. This hypnotic song, which features Eraserhood Sound's own Maxwell Perla and Vincent John laying down a sublimely effortless rhythm section groove, features Azul K dishing out some seriously deep knowledge to her sisters around the world. It is clear she is wise beyond her years, and is strong, smooth, and assertive when she commands the listener "Don't let yourself get played twice." Her unique delivery (one part singing, one part rapping, all raw soulfulness) paired with Eraserhood Sound's signature analog synth & soul production leads to a brand new intergalactic sound.
The music created with Azul was made entirely remotely during the height of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. She was an ocean away from the EHS studio in downtown Philadelphia, but the sonic connection was written in the stars. It is truly an honor to share this music with the world.
