Today, Eraserhood Sound is proud to present the instrumentals to Market East's timeless debut album French Street. The record is a soulful, nostalgic body of work that evokes a bygone era, and it is available to stream on the platform of your choice as well as Bandcamp now.

The tracks were recorded directly to analog tape at Eraserhood Sound Studio in Philadelphia by Market East members Vincent John and Maxwell Perla. The duo's effortless chemistry led to an incredibly fast and focused process that yielded stellar results. The songs showcase a range of styles and moods, from soul and chamber pop to Brazilian and cosmic country, and contain eclectic instrumental choices, including upright bass, Hammond organ, and world percussion. They also feature a few stellar guest musicians, including Nashville legend Russ Pahl on pedal steel, Ron Kerber (of Philadelphia International Records fame) on flute, and Keaton Thandi on cuica.

This offering will absolutely appeal to fans of the French Street record, and also stands on its own as a unique and engaging document within the world of Market East. Be sure to enjoy the original version plus the instrumentals today.
