“Duty Free” is the latest entry from Philly On Tape, and features the scorching garage funk of Lady HD. By now you know the drill: the track was recorded, produced, and mixed here at EHS, and features a new Philly artist recording their own contributions remotely. Lady HD frontman Ciaran Wall has established a reputation from live shows, as well as from DJ’ing funk/soul parties throughout the city, and knew his group’s unique garage funk aesthetic would be a perfect fit for the Philly On Tape series. On “Duty Free”, he lends a suave lead vocal and blazing guitar riff to the raw, hypnotic track created by EHS. This song follows the 2020 release of Lady HD’s Chifa EP, and also serves as the fourth single from Philly On Tape series. Available now on all streaming platforms around the world.
